Our client is seeking a motivated and reliable teacher for a part-time, fixed-term position at a friendly and supportive primary school in Romford, Essex. You'll help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment, supporting pupils' development and contributing positively to the school community.
It's ideal for someone passionate about working with children and keen to make a meaningful impact in an educational setting.
About the school
The school belongs to its pupils: without them there is no school, so every decision is based around their needs and is completely child-centred. Three key values, Respect, Belief and Excellence, underpin everything they do and form a core part of daily school life. The school continually strives to deliver a world-class education and is committed to success for all.
It comprises a popular nursery and a three-form infant and junior school, offering an excellent education to children aged 3 to 11. Every part of the school works closely together, sharing systems, strategies, staff and expertise, so pupils enjoy a seamless journey as they move through each stage.
The role
Class teachers use their knowledge and enthusiasm to engage children, inspiring them to enjoy learning, feel confident in their abilities and take pride in their achievements from a young age.
Using a mix of resources, you'll motivate pupils of all abilities to study and investigate lesson topics, from maths and English through to music and PE, with interactive teaching that brings the national curriculum to life.
Beyond the classroom, you'll plan and prepare schoolwork with colleagues in line with curriculum guidelines, and work with parents and carers so pupils have a supportive learning environment at home and at school.
