Bright Futures Recruitment is seeking a committed and resilient Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic SEMH school located just outside Colchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Caters for up to 80 boys aged 10–16 with a range of SEMH needs

Offers a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment 

Provides a flexible curriculum, tailored to each pupil

Access to therapeutic interventions when required

Focused on helping pupils achieve socially and academically, without limits

Rated GOOD by Ofsted in 2024

Supervise classes during teacher absences

Support pupils with SEMH needs in their learning

Maintain a positive, calm, and safe learning environment

Build rapport and establish clear boundaries

Work as part of a dedicated and supportive staff team

Strong behaviour management skills

Confidence working with young people with SEMH needs

Reliability, resilience, and a caring approach
