By subscribing to the DBS Update Service, your DBS certificate stays up-to-date and can be carried over when you switch jobs or roles in the same sector.

What to do now:
Make sure you subscribe to the Update Service. It costs £16.00 per year and you can sign up once the DBS starts processing your application.
