Bright Futures Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a fantastic SEMH school located just outside Colchester. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Supports up to 80 boys aged 10–16 with a range of SEMH needs.

Provides a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment.

Follows a flexible curriculum tailored to individual needs.

Offers access to therapeutic interventions when required.

Focused on helping pupils achieve socially and academically, without limits.

Rated GOOD by Ofsted in 2024.

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.

Assist with learning activities and classroom engagement.

Help pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviours.

Build strong, trusting relationships.

Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs.

Experience supporting young people. (SEMH experience desirable)

Patience, resilience, and a caring nature.

Ability to build rapport and set clear boundaries.

Available for an immediate start.
